Serving your family farm since 1953

Milanna Farms

Milanna Farms, owned by Michael and Alannah Wouda, became operational in September 2020 after being selected in the Chicken quota lottery! Both born and raised British Columbians, this couple is not only local but also both grew up in agriculture. Michael grew up in the dairy industry and has always had a natural love for all types of animals. Alannah’s background is in the poultry industry, with her parents owning and operating a poultry farm, hence how the couple heard about, then entered and won the quota lottery. Raising 20,000 birds on their 10 acres is a family affair, that include their children Isla, Mila and Cade. The Wouda’s say, “we love that we get to raise and care for animals. We also feel so fortunate that we get to raise our family on a farm and model the farming lifestyle for our kids. Clearbrook Grain & Milling gave us a lot of support as we got started and they were the only company that reached out to us being such a small farm.”

Wouda’s, thank you for your support over these years. We deeply value what you do for our industry and our community.
